Since 1974, Provincial have been setting the standards for fiberglass boat construction. They have found from experience that when a boat is constructed with little or no wood, it requires less maintenance and has a higher resale value. Provincial boats are designed with strength and endurance in mind, while paying strict attention to the safety and comfort of the crews that will be manning them.
This builder has established a solid reputation with lobster boats, we see their "flagship" the Provincial 42 mostly throughout the Maritimes and all along the Eastern Seaboard but also around the world. This boat was built for pleasure but built with the same high standards and just as tough as the working lobster boats have to be. The hull is 100% solid fiberglass. She's ideal for coastal navigation, so crossing the Gulf Stream is like being right at home.The low air clearance of 15' makes you go under the majority of bridges and her low draft gives you more choices when looking for a good anchorage and a good night sleep.
