KCS got it right with this model from there Cruisers Yacht Division. A sought after model in the resale marketplace, the 3870 is built on a modified V hull with cored construction, This model has a unique floor plan layout, with a private mid cabin twin berth/filler, its own TV/DVD, three piece head with shower stall combo. The full width salon has over 6′ 6″ headroom, a large 180 degree couch with table that converts to a berth, many overhead cupboads for storage.

| General Layout The galley to starboard has corian counters, 2 burner cooking top . Built in microwave, full size 2 door ac/dc fridge, walk in head with shower stall, both toilets are vacu flush systems. The forward berth is a queen pedestal berth with walk around, a privacy curtain separates from the salon. Topside seating includes an U shaped seat in the stern with table, an L shaped seat opposite the helm, and double helm seat . Walk thru windshield to the forward deck, radar arch, has bimini (Taupe) with enclosure and full aft facing canvas as well.Access/Exit from the aft deck thru transom gate where there is an extended swim platform with swim ladder, transom storage locker, house shore power , dockside water TV/phone jacks.
