Hello, I would like more information on 36' 1965 C&C Invader ***SOLD***.

LOCATION: PICKERING, ONTARIO

Own a piece of history, and sail back to the early days, when C&C was earning it's reputation for building boats with great sailing characteristics.

Invader III was commissioned by the Hilton family, from an 'up and coming' designer, George Cuthberson back in 1965.  Made of solid fibreglass, she's a solidly built, sea kindly boat with lines that make her one of the prettiest boats on the water.  

Owned by the same skipper for the last 30+ years, Invader III has had recent upgrades, making her ready to sail around the lake, or join in weekly club racing.  A  Harken furling system was installed to accommodate the new North genoa in the fall of 2016, as well as a fully battened main sail, also by North.  New B&G instruments were also added (wind/depth/speed) She's ready to go!

In the cabin below, is lots of warm wood, with cane panelled doors/drawers, good upholstery, upgraded foam, a separate head, and v-berth.  The galley is equipped with refrigeration, freezer, 2 burner alcohol stove, lots of headroom, and updated LED lighting.  She's ready for you to make her your own.

The closed-cell fitted cockpit cushions are in very good condition.  There's a cockpit awning, and a huge cream coloured awning that fits over the boom, to cover the entire cockpit/deck from the mast aft.  

With her navy hull, and teak finishes, she is a very pretty boat on the water, and in the slip.
