The amazing strength of the modern carbon fibre mast by Hall Spars safely allows the elimination of the backstay, which in turn frees the mainsail for significantly larger size and better aerodynamic shape - proven by record setting windsurfers, multihulls and America's Cup contenders. With all control lines led aft directly to the twin electric winches and Lewmar clutches at the helm, sailing this boat single-handed is easy - you can hoist, reef, trim and lower sail, all from the helm.Â
Plus, with the patented Hoyt Jib Boom adding offwind power, this is a 2 sail, self-tacking rig that projects more sail area than any ordinary rig with a 150% genoa. The payoff is excellent light wind and offwind speed - all totally manageable by a single person. This allows you to simply enjoy the experience without distractions.
