I have spent a lot of time cruising on different styles of boats and I don't think any other layout beats the Marine Trader 34 Double Cabin. With two full cabins and two full heads, there is plenty of room for two couples with privacy by completely closing off the cabins. The main salon is up high and gets lots of light. Tie in a very economical Ford Lehman, and you have an excellent all round cruising boat.
The 34 was imported by Marine Trading International of Toms River, NJ, is built by CHB Marine in Taiwan and was introduced in 1974. The model remains in popular years after her introduction and is unquestionably the most popular trawler-styled yacht of this size ever sold in the U.S.
