The Commander 30 has been built in BC for over twenty years, and is a versatile and popular coastal cruiser ideal for the Pacific Northwest.
This Commander 30 is powered by twin Volvo diesel engines with Duoprop outdrives offering efficient performance. This boat is well equipped, and has benefited from recent maintenance, including engine service, both drives being rebuilt, professional hull barrier coat and fresh bottom paint, all in 2019.
These boats are capable and versatile - the wide beam offers exceptional stability in a variety of conditions, and the large self-bailing cockpit with bait and fish boxes make the Commander 30 ideal for fishing and hauling crab and prawn traps. Plus, the cockpit helm station makes fishing and docking short-handed much easier.
Inside, a large sitting room with settee is found on port. This converts into a double berth, and with the pull-out sliding panel it transforms into a private cabin. Just forward, the handsome dinette also converts into a double berth, and the forward dinette bench seat is convertible – it easily flips to become a forward facing seat giving guests a great view while underway. Forward is a large double V-berth, with plenty of storage and a padded seat.
The lower helm station is comfortable and well laid out, and offers exceptional visibility while underway. Just aft is the well-equipped galley with propane stove and oven, refrigerator, sink and plenty of storage. An enclosed head compartment is aft, with sink, shower, and marine toilet with holding tank and overboard discharge.
Whether for cruising and exploring the coast in safety or for fishing adventures, the Commander 30 is the boat that can do it all!
