The Fountain 38 Express Cruiser represents one of the first pushed to make an offshore performance boats crossed over with a cruiser - and it was all success. Twin 496 HO's provide plenty of power at 425 Hp each for a total of 850 Hp but don't come with the problems of customized larger power plant. Easy engines to maintain and more longevity (less expense) then some other larger power plants. twin Mercury 425 hp, 496 cu.in. engines and cruise long range at 43-plus knots while still topping out at 52 knots plus.
