This is the last and BEST year of the 4788, before Meridian started producing it under The Meridian 490. You'll be hard pressed and likely can't find another 2002 Bayliner 4788, by 2002 all inherent problems Bayliner experienced with the earlier years of the 4788 were rectified by 2002. Meridian, a premiere yacht builder made no changes or adjustments to the new Meridian 490 model. The 2002 is all fibreglass and powder coated aluminum and has no wood like the earlier models to maintain annually.
This is the nicest, best equipped, 4788 you will find! The boat runs flawlessly and has never missed a beat, or let us down in anyway shape or form! that separates it from the standard Bayliner 4788 and includes, but not limited to: Upgraded Navigation Equipment, Satellite phone / internet, Generator, Inverters, AGM batteries, Battery Isolators, Fuel transfer system, Freshwater engine flush system, LED lights throughout... and so much more.

You will not find another 4788 in the impeccable condition and options this boat has. The hard top is amazing making the fly bridge available year round and/or providing the always needed dry storage. New beautiful Stidd helm seat makes long cruises a pleasure, custom made with extra seat foam and density wrapped in custom leather. Seller has corrected all the inherent problems: Orientated tender port to starboard to eliminate stern squat and port list, Remote windlass and bow thruster, huge elongated toilet, upgraded vacu-flush systems rebuilt w/new motors, re-pitch props as ALL 4788's came 2-4 pitch's over as testing was for max advertising hp with 10 liters of fuel no tender, water, people, provisions, etc, this load in the wrong rpm range caused black transoms and eventually blown motors, re-caulked 3m 4200 front side port hatches and deck hatches as the factory caulking and oversize cutouts was terrible.
