Notably similar “space to a 30-footer” as Maxum claims, with an unusually large cockpit for a boat this size. Below decks, the inviting cabin add to the spacious fell—with cherry wood trim, enclosed head with shower, and a U-shaped lounge forward—will sleep four adults in reasonable comfort. The corian galley counter and built-in microwave are nice, with decent galley storage.

The Maxum’s open transom design and extended swim platform make boarding easy, and the sport arch boasts a wonderful full cockpit bimini and enclosure for the off-weather days. Note the double helm seat with flip-up bolster. The tiered, easy-to-read dash gauges are also a plus.

The hull was recently refurbished with a new Teflon coating in 2022. Regular maintenance has been carried out yearly for the last 6 years, including by the previous owner. The boat has been carefully shrink-wrapped each season, maintaining its pristine condition. A new full canvas bimini enclosure was added in 2020.
